Mr.
Baker is returning to Sage Ridge School as
the Director of Athletics in
the athletic department after completing
his Master's in Sport Management from the Ohio
State University in December 2005. Originally from Eugene,
Oregon, Mr. Baker completed his undergraduate
degree from Seattle University where he swam and
dove for 4 years on the Varsity Team.
Mr. Baker calls the highlight of his athletic
career when during his junior season, his team won the NAIA
National Championships for Swimming and Diving.
Mr. Baker also served as a member of the NCAA
Division II National Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee. Mr. Baker has coaching experience
in
swimming and diving on the age group, senior,
high school, and master's level, as well as golf
and basketball. His
playing background in athletics is deep though,
playing many sports growing up such as
basketball, baseball, soccer, water polo,
skiing, golf, football, among other sports.
