Ways of Giving to Sage Ridge School

For individuals that would like to make a Gift of Stock to Sage Ridge School, the School recommends the following steps:

Establish an account in Sage Ridge School’s name with your existing Broker to that account, have your broker sell the stock, and then immediately notify Cathy Hill, Business Manager, to make arrangements for sending the proceeds to the School.

Another option is to have your broker electronically transfer Stock directly to Sage Ridge School. Again, please notify the Business Office as soon as possible about the transaction.

Stock Certificates - If you wish to mail a stock certificate to Sage Ridge School, it should be sent unendorsed to Cathy Hill, Acting Business Manager.  A signed stock power, executed in blank, should also be mailed to the Director of Finance under separate cover.  The date of the postmark constitutes the date of the gift.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations have matching gift programs. Matching gift support often doubles or triples an individual’s gift, and is credited to the donor’s contribution. The donor should obtain from the company’s personnel office or contributions office, a matching gift form, fill it out, and mail it to the Development Office at Sage Ridge School with his or her gift. The Development Office will then certify the receipt of the gift and return the form to the company.
