Student Issues Forum
The purpose of the Social Issues Forum is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that will allow our students to openly discuss the social issues they face during this time in their lives. The topics for this forum have been selected and designed based on the needs of the middle school from both student and faculty input. Progression from one topic to the next is determined by the facilitator and the needs of the group. Students are divided by grade-level and gender for these meetings. This meeting occurs approximately once per month. Ms. Gallivan and Mr. Walker are the facilitators for the 7th and 8th grade groups. Mr. Crain and Mrs. Ward work with the 5th and 6th grade.
