General Information
Please note there is a link to the Student-Parent Handbook on the right side of
this and other pages. This is for easy access to the information in the handbook.
Be sure to scan it. There is an abundance of information in the handbook including
rights, responsibilities, honor code, health & safety, technology, late start and
school closing policies for bad weather, as well as academic policies and procedures,
requirements for graduation, and more. If you have a question the answer is likely
to be there.
The Parents Association (PA) includes every family with a child at Sage Ridge.
There is no sign up or fee, you are already in. The representatives who make up the
board of the PA are a group of parent volunteers who are working for you and the
school, and thus for your child. The link to the left connects you to a list of your
representatives and the minutes of the once a month PA meetings. If you are
interested in a position on the board please contact a PA representative.
Upper School Parent Advisory Council (US PAC) consists of 2 or 3 parents from
each of the upper school grades, the Upper School Head, and a faculty
representative. The council meets once a month to discuss issues which are of
concern to parents, so be sure to contact your PAC representative if you have
comments. Their names will be listed in the link. The minutes of the meeting are
posted here, so check back regularly.
Middle School Parent Advisory Council (MS PAC) is made up of 2 or 3 parents
from each of the middle school grades, the Middle School Head, and a faculty
representative. They meet once a month to discuss issues of concern to parents.
The link has a list of PAC representatives and feel free to contact them with
questions, concerns, and even compliments. The minutes from the meetings are
posted here.
Volunteer Service Hours and Opportunities lists the many opportunities we
parents have to get involved at school. Volunteering is a great way to get to know
other parents, the school, faculty, and meet some of the other students. Each Sage
Ridge family is responsible for a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service to the
school. These opportunities are many and varied, and provide invaluable service
to the school.
Used Uniforms provide a chance to purchase school uniform clothing at a fraction
of the cost! Only clothing in good condition is accepted for resale so be sure to
check out this link. Also, don’t forget to donate your child's outgrown uniforms!
Spirit Clothing is casual clothing with the Sage Ridge name and Logo. It includes T-shirts,
sweat shirts, sweat pants, and such. The students can wear the sweat
shirts in class too.
