Parent Advisory Council - Middle School
The Middle School Parent Advisory Council (MS PAC) is composed of one or two parents from each grade, the Middle School Head, and a Faculty Representative. The goals of the council are to:
- Provide a forum for addressing parental concerns.
- Act as a sounding board for initiatives developed by the school.
- Pass on suggestions for improvements in the school to the administration.
- Act as a positive community resource for new, current and prospective parents.
- Provide a direct and indirect communications link to their respective grade levels.
The MS PAC meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
MS PAC representatives field parental concerns for the different grade levels and address these issues at the PAC meetings. The PAC also acts as a positive community resource for new, current and prospective SRS parents. In addition, the PAC members act as a sounding board for initiatives developed by the school, as well as pass on suggestions for improvements within the school to the administration. Finally, based on input from SRS parents and discussions at the meetings the PAC may make suggestions for appropriate policy/curricular changes. Your input is greatly appreciated. Therefore, please feel free to contact your child's grade level PAC member for any concerns, questions, or ideas you may have.
