12 Sage Ridge Middle and Upper School Students Win National Latin Exam Awards

12 Sage Ridge School Middle and Upper School students win 2024 National Latin Exam Awards

In early March, our Sage Ridge Latin students in Middle and Upper school took the National Latin Exam, which allows them to compete and compare their Latin knowledge to students across the United States and win awards.

The results are in, and this year, 12 Sage Ridge students were honored with awards for their performance on the exam.

Receiving cum laude awards were Tristan Schuler '28, Daniel Dicante '28, Justin Sloyan '28, Owen Heaphy '27, Sophie Najjar '26 and Sam Browder '26.

Receiving magna cum laude awards, the equivalent of a bronze medal performance, were Tyler Calder '29, Delphine Sweeney '28, Katy Illg '27, and Lauren Sherven '26.

Finally, Emma Sapp '26 and Wes Kennedy '27 earned the maxima cum laude award and silver medal.
