Among the standout achievements, Ana Treadway ‘27 has been nominated for the prestigious American Visions Award for Memory Mosaic, which also received a Gold Key in Drawing and Illustration. This marks the second consecutive year she has received an American Visions Award nomination.

Treadway’s work will be publicly displayed from Feb. 1-19, 2025, at the Nevada Museum of Art - E.L. Cord Museum School. Scholastic Art Award recipients will be honored in a ceremony at the University of Nevada, Reno Saturday, Feb. 1. At the ceremony, Treadway will speak about her inspiration for Memory Mosaic

Treadway shared with the Nevada Museum of Art that her piece preserves the memories tied to her favorite childhood toys.

“From wandering the streets of Paris and Rome to quiet afternoons drawing at home or building epic LEGO worlds, each toy holds a vivid piece of my story. To me, my toy box glows with life—a colorful mosaic of my childhood memories.”

The American Visions Award is a prestigious art award for “originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.” Treadway’s Memory Mosaic is one of only five works selected in the region for nomination. National judges review nominations, with one nominee per region receiving a National American Visions Medal.

In 2024, 14 Sage Ridge Upper School students received 21 Scholastic Art Awards.

Congratulations to our Scorpions on their outstanding creativity, skill, and passion!
