Sage Ridge students started competing in the American Computer Science League this year under the guidance of Mr. Brian Arnold. This is an international competition featuring difficult written tests covering a variety of computer science concepts. The Intermediate-3 Division also includes a programming problem portion, where students have 72 hours to design and code a solution to a programming problem.

Sage Ridge School is the only school in Reno to participate and only one of two schools in Nevada. Our Upper School computer science students participate in the Intermediate-3 Division. Our grade 7 and 8 computer science students participate in the Classroom Division. Our elementary schools also participated in the Elementary Division as well.
