Benjamin (Ben) Browder, Grade 10, has become quite involved with the Sage Ridge Theatre, which has led him to some amazing opportunities outside of Sage Ridge's Theatre. SRS theatre teacher and director Keely Cobb and Reno Little Theater director Megan Aguas speak on their experiences with Ben:

Benjamin Browder is an all star student that is already building his professional resume in stage management. Over the summer, Ben worked as my stage manager for two shows I produced for Artown. One show, Midtown Mixtape, premiered at Reno Little Theater and the other, Splattered, premiered at Good Luck Macbeth. After stage managing these two dance shows, Ben was offered assistant stage management and stage crew positions at both of the professional theaters. So far he has worked with Reno Little Theater's technical director, Chad Sweet, assistant technical director, Tiff Bream, director, Megan Aguas, and Good Luck Macbeth's technical director, Derek Nance. These are exciting opportunities that will open up many more doors for Ben! Ben goes above and beyond in everything he does at Sage Ridge and he is now carrying that work ethic into the professional theatre community. I am so proud of the work he has done and I look forward to what his future holds."

Ben's Director, Megan Aguas, had this to say about her time working with Ben:

"Ben is one of the best techs I've ever worked with! It was obvious to the theater staff, our stage manager, and our actors that he has a bright future ahead of him. Along with being reliable and dedicated, he's just a joy to be around backstage. I definitely hope to work with Ben again in future productions.

We look forward to seeing all that Ben does in the world of Theatre in the years to come!
