The Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Immunize Nevada, REMSA and Silver Sage Center for Family Medicine to conduct a drive-thru vaccination event at the Chamber on Friday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chamber of Commerce is located in a new building directly behind the Reno Town Mall and across the street from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center at 4065 S. Virginia Street. Its name is on the front of the building.
The Moderna vaccine will be administered, and the second shot will be available at the same time as the first shot on Friday, June 4. Plan to wait at least 15 minutes following the first dose so that any reaction is monitored by medical personnel.

Once scheduled, registrants will receive paperwork the day before the event to review and complete; this will speed up the process and ensure a smooth and efficient vaccination experience. But if the paperwork isn’t completed, it can be done immediately prior to receiving the vaccine.
