Full Belly Brasil clubs help us accomplish our mission to feed families in need and to combat climate change. The club:

  • Plans fundraisers, both in and out of school and hosts bake sales or an event with a percentage of ticket earnings going to Full Belly.
  • Raises the social media awareness for Full Belly through sharing posts through stories, asking people to follow the account to gain attention and raise awareness for the cause.
  • Runs food drives. Not just for families in Brazil, but if we want in our town/city (or even to help with the Dixie fires).
  • Decrease food waste through awareness. Food waste is a major contributor to climate change because it produces methane, a greenhouse gas 84 times stronger than carbon dioxide when measured on a 20-year scale. If food waste were a country, it would be the third largest greenhouse gas emitter behind China and the United States.
  • Plans Environmental Initiatives: Planting trees! "For every tree planted around the world donors donate an extra pound of organic food to families"
