Based on their top PSAT/NMSQT scores from last October, Elizabeth “Libby” Mulvaney, Helena Yuan, and Irisa Zhou have been nominated as three of Nevada's 162 Semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Competition and Alex Zhang has been named among Nevada's Commended Scholars (see National Merit Semifinalist and Commended Cutoffs for related score information).
The scores achieved by Libby, Helena, and Irisa have placed them in the highest tier (upper 99%) of all participants nationally, so they are now eligible to apply for finalist status and multiple college scholarship award opportunities.
