Congratulations to Everett Venner, SRS 3rd grader, who won the high point award at the 2021 High Country Short Course Championships in Minden, NV! The meet included 288 swimmers from 13 swim teams that came from throughout Nevada and Northern California. The high point award goes to the swimmer that earns the most points throughout the meet in their age group.

"He's been swimming since he could walk, and practicing 3 times
a week for the past 2 years (yes, even through COVID!) He has
worked really hard at swimming and his mom and I were very
proud of him for earning this award", says Everett's father, Mark Venner.
Everett earned 48 total points and swam in the below events:
100 yard Freestyle (1st place)
25 yard Freestyle (1st place)
50 yard Freestyle (2nd place)
25 yard Breastroke (2nd place)
50 yard Backstroke (3rd place)
25 yard Fly (4th place)
200 yard Freestyle Relay (3rd place)
25 yard Backstroke (6th place)
