We've been spreading all the love here at Sage Ridge School! Here's a look inside the classrooms during February.
Lower School
We had super fun Valentine's parties in the Lower School!
Grade 3 students recently presented their Chautauqua projects in front of parents and classmates! Students dressed up as significant historical figures and brought them to life through prepared monologues and by answering audience questions in-character. Bravo, Scorpions!
Middle School
Lower and Middle School students created Valentines for our local seniors. The colorful expressions of love and care were delivered to Washoe County seniors who participate in Meals on Wheels. Together, our students created over 300 cheerful cards. We have been participating in this project for nearly 10 years and we love it!
Our Middle School students had a blast at the Swift Sportsdome on Tuesday during Scorpion Day! The students played games like kickball, capture the flag, basketball, trivia, and had tons of fun with their peers.
Grade 7 students in Mrs. Gallivan-Wallace's class engineered and insulated their own lunch containers!
Upper School
Senior Scorpions have been hard at work on their senior theses! Heath Fellows reached out to the Middle School for participants in a research project that will help him with his studies on facial recognition.
Ms. Santangelo's Physics students have been learning about waves! They have been conducting experiments with string to help them visualize wave forms through vibrations.
Upper School Students also enjoyed a Scorpion Day at Reno Ice!
