Sage Ridge Scorpions are not afraid of the mental and physical work required to be Scholar-Athletes. Teams are supportive communities that champion students goals -- whether the goal is to play in college or simply try something new. With 24 sports teams, there is always a game to attend to support our Scorpions!

Courage is tangibly evident in both our curricular and extracurricular Arts programs at Sage Ridge. In a school where the Arts will never be cut, we build self-confidence through self-expression and inspire the creative pursuits of the next generation on a daily basis.

Summer Session

Summers are for exploring, being with friends, growing stronger, and -- always -- learning. Spend a couple weeks with us this summer and dig into sports camps, Spanish, physics, golf, art, engineering, robotics, weight training, and more.

Mock Trial Team Headed to State Competition

The Sage Ridge Mock Trial team is state-bound after a successful showing at the Northern Nevada Regional Competition.

The state competition is to be held virtually from February 25-26.

At the regional competition, held virtually from February 11-12, Lillian Ferrell shared recognition for Outstanding Attorney. Lilli De Jonghe won Outstanding Witness. Sage Ridge came in fourth place overall.

The trial was a civil case over a death caused by a sudden lightning strike at a concert. The Mock Trial team prepared plaintiff and defense sides to deliver opening and closing statements as well as face direct and cross examinations.

Local judges and attorneys oversaw and scored each trial. Overall competition results may be viewed at the State Bar of Nevada website.
