Check out some of the fun adventures our students had during their Outdoor Ed week!

Grade 4

Grade 4 spend their week at Project Discovery up Mount Rose!

Grade 5

Grade 5 is learning the ropes and having fun bunking together. Grade 5 did a great huge wooden puzzle challenge- took kids an hour but they figured it out with teamwork! Students did Flying squirrel before community time and dinner. Grade 5 did some engineering today

Grade 6

Grade 6 did a low and high ropes course, a night hike, and had a pillow fight! Grade 6 did pond ecology, a geo domes design activity and science in action!

Grade 7

Grade 7 went to Donner Summit area for rock climbing and feasted on lasagna! They hiked in front of the "China Wall" on Donner Summit, went kayaking, and made some fun snow sculptures along the way!

Grade 8

Grade 8 did some intense rock climbing!

Grade 9

Grade 9 gets ready to set sail and climbs the rigging! They also stopped to do some paddling in the mist of Sausalito.

Grade 10

Grade 10 got set and enjoyed their morning with some hot beverages. They did a science project on the river looking at water quality along with some light rafting on a slow moving river while learning about salmon!

Grade 11 

Grade 11's trip may have been cut short, but they made the most of it while kayaking!
