Sage Ridge Scorpions are not afraid of the mental and physical work required to be Scholar-Athletes. Teams are supportive communities that champion students goals -- whether the goal is to play in college or simply try something new. With 24 sports teams, there is always a game to attend to support our Scorpions!

Courage is tangibly evident in both our curricular and extracurricular Arts programs at Sage Ridge. In a school where the Arts will never be cut, we build self-confidence through self-expression and inspire the creative pursuits of the next generation on a daily basis.

Rhys Ferrito '28 Triathlon Oregon State Champion and High School State Champion

Congratulations to Sage Ridge Scorpion Rhys Ferrito '28 on winning the 2024 Oregon State Triathlon Championship for boys 14-15! Ferrito won in his age group and was faster than anyone in the 16-18 and 18-19 age groups, earning him an additional title: High School State Champion.

Out of 202 athletes, Ferrito finished 7th in the overall adults ranking.

The next race for Ferrito is July 14th in Des Moines, IA, where Ferrito will try to retain his National title. Last year, he placed first in the U.S. and second overall at the 2023 U.S. Youth Triathlon Championship for the Boys “13 and Under” non-draft category in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an incoming freshman, Ferrito looks to keep the National Champion title.
