On Saturday, Sept. 7, the Sage Ridge Freshmen Cross Country Team delivered an outstanding performance at the North Tahoe Madman Mills Mountain Motivational meet, securing 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 11th place finishes in the 2.8-mile race.

- Rushil Mahadevu '28: 5th in 22:49
- Owen Higgins '28: 11th in 25:05
The freshmen team competed against athletes from Bishop Manogue, Coral Academy of Science, Reed, Douglas, Fernley, West Wendover, Virginia City, Sierra Lutheran, Mammoth, and North Tahoe.
In the Varsity Cross Country 3.3-mile race, Tyler Jensen-Eykamp ‘26 placed 36th in 26:45.
It was a great day to be a Scorpion and one of the best for this Sage Ridge Cross Country team.

Rhys Ferrito '28 and William Adams '28 celebrate their results at the North Tahoe Madman Mills Mountain Motivational finish line.
