Sage Ridge Senior Zach Power '25 celebrated National Signing Day on Nov. 13, 2024, by signing a letter of intent with the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Division I Swim Team in Dallas.
The future Mustang is having an incredible week.
Power learned he secured 2023-2024 USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors for maintaining a minimum 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and meeting competition criteria during the qualifying period of Sept. 1, 2023-Aug. 31, 2024. This is the third time Power has received this honor.
Power also trains with the Lakeridge Swim Team and just won three events—the Men's 200 Fly, 500 Free and 200-yard Medley Relay—at the Nevada State Championship. He even set a new record at the Nevada State Championship for the Men's 200-yard Medley Relay!
Zach is a multi-year State Champion for Sage Ridge Swim Team, and we're thrilled for this senior season this spring.
