In a year of seismic shifts in education worldwide, our 21 seniors saw much success in the college admission process. They were admitted to 84 four-year colleges and universities nationwide and received $3.75 million in scholarships and merit aid in aggregate, over $1 million of which will be used to fund their postsecondary education. Congratulations, seniors! Onward to graduation!

Additional context
- Colleges implementing test-optional or test-blind admission practices increased from 1,050 in 2019 to 1,600+ in 2020 as ACT and SAT testing centers closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking ahead, 1,400+ US four-year colleges and universities will not require ACT/SAT scores for fall 2022 entry, according to FairTest.org.
- As a result of this increase in test-optional/test-blind policies, there was a surge in Early Action/Early Decision and also Regular Decision applications during this last admission cycle, especially at highly selective institutions (Colgate, up 103%; MIT, up 66%).
