Sage Ridge School Grade 4 student, Caroline Jennings, began studying ballet at the young age of 3, establishing herself first under the Russian ballet style of Vaganova and now under the English Royal Academy of Dance. After years of attending the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker, Caroline dreamed of and set her sight on performing in Tchaikovsky‘s classic. And, at eight years old, Caroline auditioned for and landed a role in the AVA Ballet Company's production of The Nutcracker at the Pioneer Center this past weekend!

Sage Ridge School's very own faculty member, Computer Science Teacher and Ski Coach, Kurt Andersen, was also a part of the Nutcracker production! Kurt performed as one of the party guests and dragon dancers.

Congratulations to Caroline and Kurt on their performances!
