The Art of Consciousness

Feb 3 - May 1, 2025

Exhibition at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Join us for The Art of Consciousness: An inspiring group art show that explores the world through the eyes of Sage Ridge School students and faculty, showcasing works from grades 7 through 12 and faculty. This exhibition captures a range of themes—including the human condition, animals, nature, self-portraits, cityscapes, and landscapes—each piece offering a unique perspective on our shared world. Through a variety of mediums in both 2D and 3D, students engage with these themes in imaginative ways, from vibrant portraits that reflect their inner thoughts to expansive landscapes that evoke a sense of place and environment. The show celebrates the diversity of artistic expression and insight that each young artist brings to their subject matter.

Curated thoughtfully by our AP Studio Art senior students, The Art of Consciousness represents a collaborative effort and a deep exploration of how art connects us with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. With works spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, this show creates a visually rich journey through the evolving skills and perspectives of each artist. Set in an environment that encourages reflection and appreciation, this exhibition offers viewers a chance to see the world anew, as interpreted by a generation of emerging young artists.
