The World is Our Stage...

The Sage Ridge School Theatre Arts Curriculum focuses on the development of the student as a well-rounded theatre artist. As an integral part of college preparatory education, Students gain an appreciation and understanding of theatre as a collaborative art form by focusing on the following six primary units of study: script analysis, performance, scenic design, costumes, lighting, and sound. Students research, audition, rehearse, design, and ultimately perform in class. Texts focus on classic theatre, including fairy tales as well as Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet. A detailed list of all Theatre Arts courses can be found in our Full Arts Curriculum Guide.
