Varsity Boys Golf had a fantastic season that culminated in two State qualifiers: Brayden Uppal ('24) and Huxley McKenzie ('25).
Brayden Uppal finished 6th in the state and Huxley McKenzie scored his personal best on the second day of the tournament! Congratulations, Scorpions!
Along with the athletes' personal accomplishments, the team was honored to finish top in the state for academics!
Coach Hovenic is proud of the team and says "thank you to all the boys and SRS for this amazing season and wonderful opportunity to coach. There was a lot of work required to pull off a season with crazy weather, schedules and exams, but we persevered and showed great determination to end the season on a high."
Sage Ridge wasn't without an award. We finished top in the state for academics. What a fantastic honor!
