Varsity Girls Basketball

Need to decompress after exams this week? Come support Sage Ridge Varsity Girls Basketball as they take on 3A Sparks HS this Thursday, December 22, at 5:00 pm. Wear black for our “blackout” theme and come to Sparks HS to cheer on the team!

After Sparks HS, Sage Ridge Varsity Girls Basketball turns their attention to their post-Christmas tournament in San Diego, December 27-30. Good luck and safe travels!

Varsity Boys Basketball

Sage Ridge Varsity Boys Basketball hosted its first-ever SRS Shootout Tournament December 8-10 at Damonte Ranch HS. In conjunction with the Damonte Ranch Boys Basketball Program, the SRS Shootout Tournament welcomed McQueen HS, Mountain Range HS, Canyon Springs HS, and Mission Viejo HS. They look forward to returning in 2023!

The boys will travel to Tustin, California, for their holiday tournament next week, December 27-30. Good luck and safe travels!

MS Boys Basketball

The Sage Ridge MS Boys Basketball teams concluded their seasons with playoff berths for both the MS JV and MS Varsity teams. The MS JV team fell in the first round of the Small School Tournament at Lake Tahoe School, while the MS Varsity team won it all! The MS Varsity team moved on to the Tah-Neva League Championship Tournament, where they lost on a buzzer-beater to Carson Valley MS. Congratulations to both teams on a great season!

MS Girls Volleyball

The MS Girls Volleyball season is now underway! After concluding a 3-day tryout last week, our MS Girls Volleyball teams are loaded with more than 20 players and primed for another great season. Now wrapping up their second week of practice, the team will find some time during the break to get into the gym and continue working, before having their first game of the season on Tuesday, January 17, against Virginia City MS.

Varsity Ski

Our Sage Ridge Varsity Ski Team has been hard at work since their season began on November 12. Coach Kurt Andersen and alumni assistant coach Anne Thompson have been running dryland practices daily and taking the team to hit the slopes for gate training on Sunday mornings. Good luck to our SRS Varsity Ski Team when they have their first race of the season on Thursday, January 12, at Mount Rose!
